The preliminary game schedules have been released to your coaches. They are currently working on finalizing them. They will release them to you once they are finalized by the league. We have 4 home and 4 away games. Away games are determined by the division you play in. Coaches will provide away addresses and field numbers for games. Your coaches can choose which jersey color they will wear for home and away contests.
Please remember to be kind to referees, coaches, and opposing teams. Everyone participating is human and there will be errors, just remember we are here to help your player develop and create a passion for soccer. Also remember this program is run by volunteers who are dedicating their time to your players so be patient, understanding, and kind. Without volunteers there wouldn’t be a Lagrange youth soccer program to sign your players up for. Please refrain from criticizing other players on your team OR on the other team. Our kids are learning a team sport which includes GREAT sportsmanship on the part of parents and players to not only our team, but the opposing team.
For our home fields we must follow Lagrange Community Park along with LCSL and OHTSL rules. Which includes:
No parking on the grass near the fields.
No dogs on or near the sidelines of the fields during practices and games.
In the case of inclement weather LYSA will decide when fields are closed.
All of you were assigned a uniform number and orders should have been placed by March 15th. If they were not placed and you still need to order uniforms please let your coach know.
The LYSA board has a couple of open positions and we welcome new members. We are currently looking to fill the position of treasurer, secretary, and uniform manager. Should you have any interest please email us at lysaboard@gmail.com.
The LYSA board kindly thanks you for your participation and patience as we get this season underway.
